5 out of 5 stars!
This is one of my new favorite books and I can't wait to finish the series! I know this book has gotten a lot of mixed reviews but I love it. It has a strong alpha male and a strong female heroine. There was a lot that went on in this book that it's a bit overwhelming.
We start the story with learning that Harlow just got out of jail, where she served time for a crime that she was set up for. She is part of a motorcycle club that views her as a family member. She rides a kickass motorcycle and is comfortable with who she is. She wants revenge on who put her in jail, but the club is working that angle. Meanwhile, she meets the super steamy Cruz who became a patched member while she was in jail. Lots of sexy scenes happen in between shoot outs, arguments, family trials, and friendship struggles.
I've gone back to this book time and again when I couldn't think of something else I wanted to read. This book hints at rape, abuse and there is described violence and sex scenes.

Shooter by Dahlia West
4.5 out of 5 stars
WOW! I could not stop reading this book. It kept me captivated as it took a direction that I wasn't expecting. It was a slow build romance that kept you guessing. I wasn't sure what Hayley's story was or how it was going to turn out, so I read the whole book in one sitting!
You start off not knowing what Hayley's history is, though you know that it is something bad since she is constantly moving. She's hiding and trying to keep to herself but "Shooter" aka Chris, is convinced she is up to no good so he keeps his eye on her. This develops into a relationship built on a shaky foundation of half truths. Throughout the story, you not only follow their relationship development but also Chris' fellow brothers who served with him. You get a bit of their back story which only adds to the story. It looks like they all have their own stories following this one and I can't wait to read it in the next stories!
This story is an interesting and enjoyable read. Lots of laughs but also some serious situations. Includes sensitive situations such as violence, rape and abuse.
